Sycamore North Working Group is a collection of residents working to preserve and protect our beautiful community, Bayside, in Hercules, California.
We are concerned about the indefinite delay of the Sycamore North development. Living in close proximity to Sycamore North, we have been directly impacted by the construction, the design, the currently unfinished work site, and the future disposition of the project. The vitality of our families, households, and community is directly connected to the success of the project.
We are seeking assurance from the city that safety codes, including fire safety are met and that environmental and public health protections are in place, to mitigate negative impacts on the community and on the protected wet-lands and wildlife.

The street at Sycamore North is now open to through traffic. Thank you to Heidi and everyone else who helped to get this accomplished!
Please use caution at the Front and Sycamore intersection. Many motorists have become accustomed to ignoring the stop sign on Front Street before turning left up Sycamore. Hopefully they will refocus now that more vehicles will be coming up and down Sycamore.
